Update.....FINALLY!!

So it's May 21st, over two months since our last post and alot has happened since. First of all, WE'RE MARRIED!!! The wedding was absolutley amazing and everything since has been even better. We moved the last of my stuff out of the apartment, now it's just a matter of getting it all organized at the house. We plan on having a garage sale sometime this summer to get rid of things we've accumulated over the years...ha ha...that makes it sound like we're old :)

We leave for our honeymoon next Thursday, but don't worry Mary and Steve, our neighbors are watching the house for us and one happens to be in the FBI...so no parties for you! We're going to The Riviera Maya in Mexico and will be staying at the Catalonia hotel. Jered has a ton of fun stuff planned like scuba diving in under ground caves, swimming with dolphins, four wheeling and lots more!

Keefe, our dog, is adjusting well to all the changes. His favorite past time is chasing his tail...no, seriously, he loves it! He also loves laying out in the warm sun and playing fetch with his dad. He went swimming for the first time ever and spent most of the time chasing Mr. Duck accross the entire pond...the duck won. He had his first bon fire a few nights ago, we stayed up telling stories and he slept in until 12:00 the next day....teenagers!

Chia Kitty is doing well too, she doesn't really like it when Keefe chases her though, he does it ALL THE TIME!

Well, The house is close to being finished. It's amazing to see everyone come together the way you all did to help make our new house into a home.

Jered and I have been having so much fun watching things happen little by little. The first day we walked into our new home we had an idea of how we wanted things to look and it's so exciting to watch it become a realty. First the trim, then picking out colors for each of the rooms. It's so scary having to pick out paint colors on our own...too light, too dark, or too much....we have to just go for it.

I love the 'bear' room that Tim and Mary painted. It's kind of our little cabin get away. Then of course our 'sky villa'...so mellisa calls it, ha ha. I love all the plants we got from the shower! Believe it not they're actually all still alive :)

The kitchen is finally done too! Moe and her designer friend came over and helped us tackle that project.

Over the next few weeks we'll be working on painting the basement and the fourth bedroom. Don't worry Jered, I won't go too crazy on those colors :)

Well, it's now on to planning the wedding...I almost forgot that minor detail of our lives. muh ha ha!
